💡The STEM mobile makers program is a National Science Foundation-funded program active at 4 CSU campuses that gives youth grades 3-8 opportunities to explore science and engineering. Kids will build confidence in problem-solving through hands-on activities and design-based challenges. During each session, kids will plan, build, troubleshoot, and improve their custom STEM creations by using a variety of everyday materials, tools, and digital technology. This experience is designed to foster critical thinking in a fun and meaningful way.

It’s Game Day! Hosted by So Cal Game Connection representative Mark Shocklee, this monthly gathering welcomes players of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned gamers.

Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of a game they would like to play, though a variety of games will also be available to share. Popular board games include Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, and Terraforming Mars. Card game favorites include Flip 7, Century: Spice Road, and Splendor.

Closing our October Double Feature, Nosferatu shifts from quiet, ghostly unease to full gothic dread, asking what happens when a darkness we invite in refuses to leave. Together with The Sixth Sense, these films explore the presence of death among the living, and the fear, sorrow, and obsession that follow.

Nosferatu follows a young woman haunted by a terrifying presence as an ancient count fixates on her and brings plague and ruin in his wake. Through its shadowy, atmospheric storytelling, the film explores desire, dread, and the price of forces we cannot control.

Dia de los Muertos Art Festival Hosted by the Downey Theatre

Come out and enjoy all of the activities that will be available this year! We will have arts and crafts, a chalk walk, face painting, art displays, car altars, and so much more. 💡The STEM mobile makers program is a National Science Foundation-funded program active at 4 CSU campuses that gives youth grades 3-8 opportunities to explore science and engineering. Kids will build confidence in problem-solving through hands-on activities and design-based challenges. During each session, kids will plan, build, troubleshoot, and improve their custom STEM creations by using a variety of everyday materials, tools, and digital technology. This experience is designed to foster critical thinking in a fun and meaningful way.
