Happy Little Paint Along
Discover the joy of painting with a Bob Ross Paint-Along Workshop! Create serene landscapes, happy little trees, and fluffy clouds while following Bob’s timeless techniques. Perfect for all skill levels—because there are no mistakes, just happy accidents!

Sewing Club
Come to the Workshop’s monthly Sewing Club! During Sewing Club, you can utilize the Workshop’s equipment and materials to work on an independent sewing project. Don’t have a project in mind? No worries! A select number of beginner sewing projects will be available to you during the session.
Sewing Club participants will be provided assistance and guidance, including instruction on sewing machine use, by our guest instructor, Sharon White. Workshop staff will also be available to provide assistance when possible, and we encourage club members to help each other too! We all have different backgrounds and experiences, so we’ll be learning from each other.
The Workshop will have a limited number of sewing machines available during the session that will be offered to participants on a first come, first served basis. In the event that all sewing machines are occupied, you may still participate in any aspects of the sewing process that don’t require a machine. If you have your own sewing machine, we highly encourage you to bring it with you to the session!
All types of sewing projects are welcome.
Sewing Club sessions are drop-in, meaning you do not have to pre-register in order to attend the session. Space is limited! We ask that you arrive promptly at the beginning of the session in order to secure your spot.
Available materials include: sewing machines, assorted fabric, sewing needles and thread, pins, quilt batting, embroidery materials, irons and ironing boards, and much more!

Felting Workshop
Learn the basics of wet felting! In this workshop, participants will create their own fabric by felting layers of wool together. They will also learn about the different possibilities and applications of wet felting techniques.
This program is intended for beginners with no previous experience. All materials will be provided.
This session will be led by a guest instructor, Eleonora Schonhofer.
This program is intended for ages 18+. Pre-registration is required to attend this program. The registration form will become available on Monday, September 15th, at 10:00 AM on the Workshop’s page.

Terracotta Pot Painting
Join us this Wednesday in the Workshop to decorate terracotta plant pots!
In this hands-on workshop, participants will use paint and acrylic markers to decorate terracotta pots.

Join the Workshop as we head outside the Library and venture to the backyard of the Columbia Memorial Space Center to paint en plein air. We have a limited amount of materials to offer (easels, paint, charcoal) so we encourage you to bring some of your own materials too.
This will not be a formal how-to class, but more of a meet-up for our community members who enjoy art and nature, to get together and learn from each other. This is a great opportunity to continue learning and grow your artistic skills and interests!

Tie Dye Workshop
Tie dye bags, towels, clothes, and more! In this session, you'll be able to tie dye an item of your choice. All tie dying materials will be provided, including a limited supply of tote bags and tea towels available to dye. Any other items, including clothing, will not be provided, but we encourage participants to bring their own.
