National Night Out is a unique community event, celebrated across the United States that happens on the first Tuesday in August every year and is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.

The main focus of Downey’s National Night Out event (NNO) will be to promote community awareness by interacting with and educating the community regarding public safety, crime prevention, and community resources.

The NNO celebration will consist of various booths where individuals can obtain information about community safety.
