Federal Depository Library Program

The Federal Depository Library Program makes available to the public no-fee access to information produced by Federal agencies. The Downey City Library joined the Federal Depository Library Program in 1963. We are a selective depository for the 34th Congressional District. Currently our selection rate is 14% of all materials available through the Federal Depository Library Program.

As the U.S. Government is moving towards the Internet to share public information, it is our objective to highlight publications that might be of interest to you including publications that our library selects. The following are links to government databases, periodicals, forms and other publications.
