| The Downey City Library employs a variety of staff in full-time and part-time
positions. Periodically there are open positions. Two positions, Part-Time Librarian
and Part-Time Aide, usually have openings throughout the year and are described
below. Please consult the City of Downey Employment Opportunities page or call
the Personnel Office, City of Downey, at (562) 904-7293, for information about
Library positions with current openings.
A City of Downey Application for Employment and supplemental Scantron form
must be submitted to the Personnel Office. Resumes may be attached to the application,
but will not be accepted in lieu of a completed City application.
